Will new dads soon be entitled to real paternity leave? This is what Novartis is aiming for with its new directive.
Starting January 2021, all Novartis employees (women and men) are permitted to a minimum of 14 weeks paid parental leave, following the birth of a child.
By offering the same parental leave to both parents, the agency marks a new step in its policy to promote greater equity.
“The arrival of a child is an unforgettable moment for all parents. and we wish to celebrate this happy event with our associates and allow them to live these first moments with their child as intensely as possible”, said Mourad Benhammacht, Humain Ressources Director Maghreb.
